[HISTORICAL BREAKDOWN - DESERT MARKINGS]:
The Nazca Lines are a series of large ancient geoglyphs in the Nazca Desert of southern Peru. They were created between 500 BC and 500 AD. The largest figures are up to 1,200 feet long. They were made by removing the reddish pebbles and uncovering the whitish ground beneath. How an ancient civilization could design these without aerial sight remains debated worldwide.
